What is it like to travel, sleep and work from a Suzuki Jimny?
Which of my journeys do I remember as the most “crazy”?
How do I combine exploring backroads in a 4×4 and on a motorcycle almost at the same time?
I talk about all of this with Dagmara Kowalska (Bryki Dagmary) on the ChilliZet stage during Hel Riders, alongside two fascinating guests.
Close trips, far-reaching experiences
You don’t always have to go far to feel close to yourself.
If you follow me on my other social channels, you know that I don’t measure my journeys in kilometers. I don’t collect flags on a world map either — I collect memories. I collect emotions, important lessons and deep experiences. And that is exactly what trips like this usually give me — journeys that may be far in distance, but go deep inside.

Hel Riders — a festival for passion-driven people
Dagmara Kowalska (Bryki Dagmary) moved her studio to the seaside campsite “Chałupy 6”, where the Hel Ridersfestival took place in the summer of 2023. On the ChilliZet stage, I had the chance to talk about what I love most — motorcycle travel and expeditions in the smallest off-road vehicle in the world: my Suzuki Jimny.
I highly recommend listening to the entire conversation, because alongside me there were incredibly interesting travelers with equally wild stories and a great ability to inspire.

A broken plan usually leads to the best adventure
That’s exactly why flying or traveling by train makes me a little uneasy. I don’t like being dependent on schedules, flight plans and all the surprises that come with them. A week before departure, my dream trip — an expedition to Iceland — fell apart. But every cloud has a silver lining. Two days were enough to create a new plan and hit the road.
Not by plane, but by motorcycle.
Not north, but south.
Fully dependent on myself and my travel companions.
In the conversation I mention that cancelled flight — at the time I was thinking about heading to the Sudetes, but in the end I made it all the way to the Adriatic. And it turned out to be one of the best trips of the last few years. You can see the full story in this article (and video).
Enjoy the listen — and see you somewhere on the road (or beyond it).
