My heart is split between two worlds: off-road vehicles and motorcycles. 4×4 overlanding and motorcycle expeditions are the very essence of this blog. This is my steadily growing stable, although I also often test other motorcycles in different parts of the world — and it’s entirely possible that soon one of these photos will be replaced by another. Life is too short to commit forever to just one vehicle (even though I truly love mine!).

Jim & Darek
This is an interesting duo. The smallest members of the family, yet probably the most charming.
Darek, the Suzuki DR 125, is my first motorcycle — nearly 30 years old — and I have a deep affection for him. Over the years, he often travelled with me on a trailer behind Jim, because he is light, agile, easy to fix, and perfect for exploring the surrounding area while I set up a full base camp around Jim out in the wild.
The Suzuki Jimny is already my second car from this series. The moment Jimny was released onto the market, I fell in love at first sight. Dealer waiting lists for the “little dachshund” were months long, then years long — and when I finally decided to get one, it was practically impossible to find. I hunted for it for a year, and finally — I succeeded!
Before Jimny even came into my hands, I already had all its future modifications planned out. I started very slowly, from the interior, improving what the manufacturer had spared.
At the beginning of February 2023, as a result of being involved in a brutally unfortunate accident, Jimny — bluntly speaking — met its end and was written off. Jimny 02 took its place. I’m slowly equipping it again as a proper expedition vehicle, with a rooftop tent and all the gear that allows me to disappear somewhere deep in the wilderness for a few days.

Himek, a.k.a. Royal Enfield Himalayan 411
This is my first “adult” motorcycle — the one that motivated me to get my full Category A motorcycle licence. A beautiful machine with a soul, which took me on a journey around Morocco, to Lithuania, Gotland, part of Sweden, as well as on a trip through seven countries and countless backroads of beautiful Poland.i.

Wanda, a.k.a. Rieju Aventura 500 Legend
She’s been with me since spring 2025, and it’s with her that I’ve experienced my wildest adventures and expeditions — including a trip to the factory in Spain to check whether she was really produced there. Forty litres of fuel in two independent tanks gives an incredible sense of freedom. She’s slowly starting to push Himek aside, so it’s quite possible that the guy will soon go looking for happiness elsewhere.
